The gold stamp pad works exceptionally well on plastic, glass, metal, glossy cardstock, photo paper, polymer clay, unglazed ceramic clay, painted surfaces, rubber, coated paper, shrink plastic, cellophane, porcelain, and terracotta. It is specially formulated to bond with surfaces that standard inks struggle to mark.
The ink pad measures approximately 1.875 inches tall by 3 inches wide, with a sturdy case measuring 2.5 inches tall by 3.5 inches wide. This set includes a StazOn ink refill bottle containing up to three times the amount of ink held in the pad, allowing for easy re-inking and extended use.
On porous surfaces, the ink dries very quickly. On non-porous surfaces, drying time can take up to five minutes depending on material type and humidity levels. Care should be taken during this time, as the ink may smear before fully curing. For best results, ensure stamps are clean and free from oils or residue before use to avoid ink pad contamination.
Rough or absorbent surfaces such as uncoated paper, leather, wood, and fabric may not produce a fully metallic finish. Adhesion may vary on some types of glass or glazed ceramics.
Cleaning stamps immediately after use is recommended. StazOn Cleaner should be used to prevent ink build-up and is sold separately. Always replace the lid after use, as exposure to air can cause the ink to dry out.
